Scouting as a program exists in every local YMCA in our country, and Scout Camps at national level have become a tradition in the YMCA Belarus. Every year we run Scout Camps where scouts have posiibilities of competitions, training, getting a grade or just having nice time.
Since 1999 we have been holding the Belarusian Scout Jamboree every summer. This is a big camp with about 100 participants from all the local YMCAs of Belarus and guests from other countries. Scouts from Russia, Lithuania, Switzerland and Germany have already took part in our Jamborees, and we hope to extend the international circle of this big camp. During the Jamboree week scouts become to be friends. Every day is a special and unforgettable one, because it is full of events, games and fun. Even bad weather recede from the scout enthusiasm, that is why Jamborees in Belarus are imbued with sun, joy and happiness.
