Attantion, please :
A Boy Scout / Girl Guide Group from any European country is herewith invited to participate in the Song Contest '33. Hamburger Singewettstreit' combinated with some days of holiday - program in the beautiful city of Hamburg.
Thanks to a charity gift of the 'Alfred-Toepfer-Stiftung' we will support the trip to Hamburg and the stay here with 1000.-€.
The group shall contist of min. 6, - max. 15 persons at the age of 12 - 25 years.
At least one group member should speak either German or English.
Arrival in Hamburg on Friday, 16th of April, the day of return may be the group.
Lodging in a scout house not too far from the city centre.
The qualification for the finals starts on Saturday, 17th of April at 12:30 h at Hamburg University.
The best singing groups of the German Scout and Guide organisations from all parts of Germany are expected and our guests are free to decide, in which group they wish to participate.
We appreciate groups, which in addition to the songs are prepared to present a five minute danc, folk music or a theater scene.
The best group will receive valuable winning awards.
The graet After-Show-Party includes the opportunity to sing with the other groups, to dance and to meet new friends from all parts of Germany.
For the following stay in Hamburg we'll have many proposals for an interesting program, guided by your Hamburg hosts.
Please let us have your application as soonas posible with following informations:
- name of your group, country, city
- number, age, and sex of the group members
- desired song category, if possible additional contribution ( dance, piece ofmusic, sketch )
- name, postal adress, telephone, e-mail adress of contact person.
