I'll continue in english (because for me as a dutch girl its easier) but replies in german are ok.
We have been trying to find a place to stay with 12 explorer scouts (ages 15 till 18) with 2 adults in or close to Berlin from 22 juli till 29 juli.
But since we didn't get any positive response at all I hope someone here can help us.
Does anybody know a nice place to stay with 12 people???
We extended our search area so any good suggestion in germany (prefarable close to a city, but with some space outside) is welcome.
We are a pfadfinder group from the north of holland, so we are mainly looking in the north and middle part of germany...

Perhaps the Bäkewiese in Berlin? There is currently no reservation for the first days of your stay - and the campground should be be big enough to host two groups, especially with one of the as small as your group.
Or try the Bäkeburg, a former Scout hut open for all users. Very small, but sleeps about 12 people.

If Frankfurt is an option for you, you might wanna consider the Wildwasser scout home in Hanau (you can get to Frankfurt from there in 20 minutes by train). It's located dircetly in the city. Only downside is that there are no showers, but there's a swimming pool in the city centre. Stammesheim Hanau

Thanks for the reply.
I have just send an email to Bäkewiese so hopefully they will respond soon (unfortunately most of my emails don't get any responses).
We have allready contacted Bäkeburg but we are affread that it is too small and has no space to sit outside (or to place a tent).
So we decided to look further.

Sounds ok. Frankfurt is reachable for us in one day.
I will discuss it with my group, thanks!

Its more a house than tent place, however still very nice!

Thanks for the suggestion, but it looks a bit hard to get to and to get around.
We don't have cars so we have to travel by train or bus.
The environment and houses do look very nice but we hope to find something closer to a city.

You could go to Fürstenberg and there is a bus going from there - but yes its more a place if you want to dive into the Brandenburg djungle
