The Arab Scout Region was established in 1954
in conformity with the requirements of the WOSM Constitution.
The Region comprises 17 members of the WOSM. These members are :
Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya,
Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia,
Sudan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
It is important to mention that Iraq and Syria
are among the first founders of the Scout Movement in the Arab Region |
